Always check in at the front end of venad unless u need to have a long walk to reach the exit..

Almost always the trains to North is from Platform1 & trains to South is from Platform2. Station also has prepaid auto (@ counter they charge Re.1) at the exit from Platform1.

If you're travelling north remember NOT to stand near the main entrance. Trains always stop quite ahead. Follow the coach position.

For All trains going via Kottayam , has the stop here & they 'll not go through EKM South . So if u r planning to go by a train coming via Kottayam , Then u hav to be in This station . No stop for Kot
