Airport is pretty small and gets very congested when two flights tales off at the same time.

Indigo has a self check-in kiosk right in front of the baggage screening machine. Easy to miss. It's a lifesaver if you're traveling light. The queues are ridiculous.

No aero bridges and third world airport filled with odour and people. Although the facade is spacious inside it's very congested and you would straight enter into the baggage screening area.

There are 4 gates for boarding through ground only. The security check is congested with just couple of belts for both gender. The immigration counter too is dingy. The cafe inside is your usual ones.

Even Guwahati and Dibrugarh airports are better, it just has 2 belts for luggage. The restaurant outside service is very delayed but menu is ok.

Most people don't know but there is a prepaid auto stand which is just outside the airport complex. Better to take that than try bargaining unjustifiable prices☺

Airport Authorities needs to put up at least one magazine stall here. Check In process is nightmare during flight hours..!!

Arrive well ahead in time. There is little difference between airport and railway station. Except the AC

Flight ops normally between 8 AM and 8 PM. No night operations, yet. Nothing bigger than an A320/ B737 can land either. Runway is less than 2km long.
