Great personable people. They gave us great recommendations for around the city. Everything is good, from the rye bread, to the salmon, to the homemade ginger strawberry jam.

No visit to Stavanger without visiting Ostehuset øst! Relaxed atmosphere, lovely salads and cheese, perfect bread. The only thing I don't like is the carrotcake.

Tapas are pay by weight. The veggie salad with pesto is wonderful, use the complementary oil, vinegar and salt, for dressing. Perfect stor cookie complex but not too sweet.
