Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal
The ferry terminal at Swartz Bay is located 20 miles/32 kms north of Victoria at the end of Highway 17. Total estimated driving time from Victoria: 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The terminal is well served by BC Transit bus service as well.

Memorial Union
Built in 1926 to provide a "living room for the campus," the Memorial Union was predominantly funded by private donations. The year following its October 5, 1928 opening, it was the busiest college union in the country. It still thrives today as the social and leisure center of campus.
