Used to live in the area. Noticed a tip saying great food... The bear is a pretentious overpriced pub pretending to be something its not. The food has always been below par every time I've visited.

Ask to stay in Rose Cottage, lovely old terrace of Victorian workers cottages with views in two directions, inc view of Glastonbury Tor from the upstairs flats.
