It is a huge palace; probably you should account for at least two hours. Since We were short on time; we quickly browsed it. I would like to spend more time there.

Un incontournable de Marrakech selon moi, et peut être mon endroit préféré. Le palais est gigantesque. Une visite qui vaut le détour. 10Dh seulement, évitez celle à 20Dh pour la Chaires, dispensable.

I totally loved it! Ruins takes you to ancient Arabic times. The place is huge and you can imagine how breath-taking this place was before. Pram friendly. Not much space to hide from the burning sun.

Once nicknamed 'the incomparable' as it was once the most beautiful palace in the world. Unfortunately partially ruined as its structure was used to construct another palace.

The terrace in the north-east corner of the complex has nice views over the city.

Really cool wander around. Large grounds with orange trees. Go to the terrace for great views. 10 DH admission - lots of people will tell you you're going the wrong way. Just ignore them.

Visitors flock here to explore the surviving network of underground tunnels, marvel at the views and watch storks raise their young in the crumbling ramparts.

A huge and beautiful palace to wander around with a lot to see including a mosque. They fruit trees currently growing inside and two big pools.

Calm and away from the Medina business. The vast ruins show the past glory and you can enjoy the sight of the Marrakech sacred birds - storks.

Although the palace lays in ruins now, you can feel what the intended vision was. It would have been quite spectacular if they had finished it. Also a chance to escape the busy streets of the medina!
