For someone like me overwhelmed by the large WAS (DC Union Station), ALX offers a much Amtrak to Metro or DASH transfer :)

Nice little station. Restrooms are "clean" but not great. Looks like the station could use some TLC soon or it might deteriorate a tad.

Parking is close to non existent. Don't be fooled by the employer only parking lot on the right. Best to get a cab rather than taking your chances with parking!

Just passing thru but I love coming here on a nice summer evening and taking a walk after dinner at one of the many locally owned eateries.
