Stop & Shop is the only grocery store on Island. (There are two of them.) Obviously necessary, and has mostly everything, but quality isn't always superb.

On busy sumer days, park in the Chicken Box lot and cross over. You'll save time. Then after you've battled the often rude sumer crowd, stop into the Box for a drink to make you human again.
