Get here early on Sundays or really late. The aisles are half empty by six o clock.

Best grocery store in DC. A hidden gem. If you are looking for something and they don't carry it the manager may offer to start carrying it. So much batter than Harris teeter across the way.

Cone at 9:30 when it is empty. Makes shopping much more pleasent.

Nice selection and definitely cheaper than Harris Teeter. Just be prepared to spend a long ass time in the checkout line.

My favorite Safeway on the Hill. Just pack your patience. The one @ Benning Road & Hechniger Mall has been the sight of a shooting since I've lived here! YIKES!!!

If someone is in the aisle looking at something and u must ride ur cart thru whatever they're looking at, just say "excuse me" people...damn! #irritating!
