It may be a bit old but the girls are awesome, really helpful and it is really nice to see the kiwis so close, and... quite cheap if you compare it to the other places

Maybe not high tech or super new, but still a cute place with lots of nice details and very good view of the kiwis. And also some massive, ancient eels.

Kiwi enclosure is worth a look as are the eels but the rest is very dated and could use some renovation - if you're heading South towards Franz Josef the West Coast Wild Life Centre is a better choice
