You have chosen well. The Manly Ferry is the patient persons commute. The Manly Fast Ferry is for the impatient soul and you can get that at Wharf 6.

Travel with a school age child on Sunday and you both get to ride for $2.50, all day on all public transport. Great value considering a return ticket on the Manly ferry costs about $15.00.
