Obviously not working when we visiting in June 2016, but Meridian Hill Park has the longest cascading fountain in the U.S. Travel guide - www.bikabout.com/washington-dc

Great Sunday drum circle, but there's always something else going on! The park is designed well, so there are more secluded places if you want to be alone, and more open spots if you're in a group!
