An art house cinema with warming atmosphere which is located in the hip De Pijp. It's a tradition to enjoy the neighborhood with nice drinks and etc before / after the movie.

Awesome selection! If you don't speak Dutch they have an expat night with English subtitles on Monday nights.

Denk je gezellig naar de film te gaan, zit er een één of ander panel achter een tafeltje een giga oninteressant lul verhaal op te hangen onder het mom van het thema van de film. Beetje jammer. #saai

Definitely not the best cinema in Amsterdam (hello, The Movies, or hello, FilmHallen) but certainly the go-to spot for socially engaged arthouse films. Comfortable & beautiful building, too.
