Very friendly and competent staff. Nice hotel with renewed lobby, restaurant, guest bathrooms. Comfortable place to stay in East Iceland. Try reindeer burger in the restaurant, their signature dish.

Get some drinks before 7pm - happy hour - and drink them straight at the balcony bar where you can sit in the afternoon sun, marvelous.
