In the garden of Devonport House hotel there is a sculpture that most people miss. On top of a white plinth is John Reardon's Monument to a Dead Parrot which was installed in 2009.

always call first to tell the staffs if you have any food allergies so that they could hve some alternatives or soultions for you...

Nice, clean (conference) hotel with a good, full English breakfast. The walls and doors are apparently thin as every word spoken in the corridors can be heard in adjoining rooms. Friendly staff.
