Old fashioned ryokan,old but with character. Staff is awesome. Dinner in room good. Seafood heavy. Private onsen is really nice

So beautiful, simple, and authentic. Private onsen was available all 3 times we tried to get it (great for couples!).

Quaint ryokan onsen in Hakone. Charming with character. It is an old historic ryokan, so don't expect it to be modern. Has all amenities you'll need. Japan style meals for an authentic experience

Sehr authentisch - an einem wilden Bach gelegen. Netter Empfang durch Frau Honda. Onsen sehr heiß. Sollte man als Europäer nicht übertreiben.

Definitely a hotel to stay in to experience the traditional Japanese culture. Staff are welcoming and helpful, plus the food here is to die for. 👍🇯🇵

Only a couple hours in and totally charmed. Enjoyed a nice private onsen with my husband as well as one other hot bath in a pine tub. Food is amazing as is our hostess.

A really nice old hotel with kind and wonderful staff. Enjoy both onsens by coming in earlier -- the use is segregated for men and women depending on time.
