Park is quite nice, on a week day the beach front isn't loud, and you can hear the waves. <3! also, hot springs pools are 2 seconds away!!!!

If u r small group with small tent, it's better to book the site over the hill! Beach front is too windy n noisy

Cruze down to the beach and catch a wave, head to the harbour and hire a kayak or catch a ferry accross to Tauranga for a shopping day
