Car park gates now work, and they have a camera that does OCR on your rego plates. No driving out and coming back in expecting it to be free. They'll hit you for the full time you've been there.

More often than not, the boom gates for the car park don't work. I.e. all day parking. Great for the cheap lazy man that works in the Mitchell Centre...i.e. me!
