The nurses in ASU North are absolutely amazing, and the outpatient lab here is one of the quickest and least painful places to go for bloodwork. I never have to sit for hours at Sunrise and Quest.

Employs childlife specialists who help calm the children prior and during procedures and throughout their hospital stay. Ask for them!

You'll find vending machines in the employees cafeteria which is on the east side (towards St. John the Baptist High School)

For a hospital that gives you ocean view while you deliver a baby one really can't complain. Make friends with your nurse and you'll be fine.

Good for medical testing and surgical care, but HORRENDOUS for emergencies that aren't obviously life-threatening (deadly infections/allergic reactions). If possible, go elsewhere for emergency care.
