Taxis charge you for baggage as well. As of July 2017 the going rate is around 25-35 MVR. Don't make yourself too obvious as a first timer or else you will be charged 30-35 MVR.

Watch out for locals trying to uide you the best place to eat. most of them guide you to places where their stores are within the area of places they suggest where you can eat cheap but good food.

If you go to Male by ferry and are looking for some place to eat, go to Seafood restaurant just beside it. Literally. At 9USD, it is very worth it.

Отличный остров для жизни, экскурсии берите в Icom у Ибрагима, жить можно в Venturo, Kaani(если хочется дорого), еда вкусная в Kaani, Arena, Stingray.
