An artificial, 250 foot "mountain" made from excavations for Robert Moses's ill-fated Richmond Parkway. The road, which would have connected Brooklyn to New Jersey, was scrapped after heavy protests.

To think that this is man made, watch out for the sewer pipe on the north side! Steep trail if you don't take the "official" one.
