The collection is modest. However, Cimiez itself is a worthwhile trip. Don't miss the monastery gardens for a fantastic view of Nice. Adjacent to the monastery is this cemetery where Matisse is buried

It's a quite poor museum but the park where museum situated is very nice, for jogging,picnics,kid's bday parties and evening walks

Really disappointing compared to the Matisse exhibition in Het Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
