Beautiful interiors. Make sure to take a tour to appreciate the history of the Doges. Deposit the backpack once you are through the entrance. The tickets also allow you to visit the Correr Museum.

Definitely a place you don’t want to miss. Book in advance the « secret tour » to visit the other parts of the building which are not part of the regular tour. It’s impressive.

They wand you immediately upon entry, before you reach the ticket office. Pull your mobile, keys, coins etc. out of your pockets ahead of time.
