Great little compact place with a decent variety of animals. There are rather interesting 15-min shows running in the cinema downstairs every hourly. Free with Bergen Card in winter.

Really nice aquarium , you can see penguins, sea lions, seals, sparks, a lot of different types of fish and a lot more. Student discount with student id card 150 kr

Make sure you visit the sea lion show. The restaurant is top knotch as well! Great way to spend a morning with the kids.

Not too big and interesting enough to keep the attention of kids a couple of hours. Lovely area around also to walk if it's not raining. We walked from the city center - about 20 min (with the kids)
