Very photogenic and well worth a visit on any trip to Invercargill. This historic water tower, built in 1889, still has a role in the city’s water supply, albeit in backup mode.

If you get a chance to climb the water tower make sure you do it. The view is fantastic and the building itself is a national treasure! Open on Sunday afternoons.
