Expansive memorial with many tributes to all FDR did over three terms. Incredible quotes all along the way that still resonate today.

The waterfalls in each section represent the nature of each of FDR's terms, from chaotic to calm. This memorial is so underrated!

7.5 acre four room open memorial along the Tidal Basin in between the MLK memorial and Jefferson memorial. Each room tells a story of each term he was elected

Visit during the day--there are tours that stop here in the evening, but the lighting is really not sufficient to appreciate the Memorial after dusk.

Handles the Roosevelt presidency well. It’s just a shame the fountains aren’t working at the moment (Aug 2018) as it reduces the impact.
