Monumento dedicato ai caduti d'oltremare, che furono circa 9.000, soldati che persero la vita andando in guerra in Africa alla conquista di nuove terre. Inaugurato nel 2000, l'ingresso è gratuito.

Стоят солдаты в красивой униформе и следят, чтобы туристы не мочили ноги в фонтане, а ведь это даже не шутка. Находится в двух шагах от torre de Belem и музеем неизведанного.

What to say, they just did it right. And having in permanence 2 solders doing the gard in fronts, shows how much respect the Portuguese have for their soldiers dead during combat.
